Using a QHY5L-II-M or QHY5L-II-C with PoleMaster Software
1. Either a QHY5L-II-M or a QHY5L-II-C camera is required. (QHY5L-II-M preferred)
2. The Camera needs to have a "CS" mounting, not a "C" mounting. Early QHY5L-II cameras were supplied with "C" type mounts. The "CS" mounting is 5mm shorter than the "C" mounting.
3. A 25mm CCTV lens with a CS mount is required. These can be found on eBay or Alibaba.

4. Install PoleMaster Software Version 1.3.2.8 from the QHYCCD website.

5. Download the QHY5L-II PoleMaster Emulator file from here:

6. Copy PoleMaster_Emulator_1.3.2.8.exe to the PoleMaster installation folder. The default is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\QHYCCD\PoleMaster\PoleMaster"
(You may need administrator privilege to do this.)
7. Run PoleMaster_Emulator_1.3.2.8.exe as an administrator instead of PoleMaster.exe.
8. Please note that no files are modified. A virus scan of PoleMaster_Emulator_1.3.2.8.exe can be performed by uploading the file to the following site to prove that it is clean:
